I won the poetry slam!!! first place second semester in a row. My Art was viewed and i should be getting it back pretty soon. And i had a huge falling out with the teacher who asked me to read at the presidentail thing becuase i had asked him if the poem i was planning to read was appropriate for the audience. He said that it didn't have swear words and approved it. Only to send me a message on my essay (which had NOTHING to do with the reading) that i needed to think about the different situations i was in, that what i read was inappropriate and that he had warned me that children would be present especially the president's 11 yr old daughter. oh AND I had a series of unfortunate events happen to me. I couldn't find my poem, Almost wrecked my car, couldn't find a parking spot, then had a powder sugar desert burst on me. So i was expecting to FALL on my way up to the stage and as i am explaining all of these things to my friend this girl that i don't truly care for, butted into my conversation and told me that i had no reason to be afraid that everything was alright, everyone got stage fright. so i told her, I don't have stage fright. BUT as I sat listening to her read her poems (she went up right before me) she shook so bad i almost felt bad for her but then again I kept thinking... you were the one who told me not to be afraid but look at you. so that is my ramble of the day... oh and one of our family dogs is dying... i know i sound nonchalant but i have learned not to become too attached we have had him for 12 amlost 13 years. I am okay with it because there is nothing that i can do... but my older sister is blaming my family for something we can't change so we r pretty torn up about it and TARA plz don't bring this up to kate and don't tell heather. she is hurting REAL bad my older sister made all these cruel suggestions that caused her to bawl uncontrolablly i had to coach her through breathing technics to calm her down but when my mom and i went to explain to caroline she started crying again. so plz plz just give her a hug and if she starts crying take her to the potty..
